As a hockey fan I wish they were playing too. My biggest issue with the season being scrapped is that its a sport that doesn't as big a following as other major sports to begin with and now people think even less of it. Here in Washington DC the owner of the Capitals has said that they are actually loosing less money by not playing this season than if they had. How sad is that? What happened to playing a sport because of the enjoyment and appreciation of it?
