Question. Anyone know if on any of the Vrod BB kits if they are incorperating compression releases? Secondly, What are the compressions of these BB kits running? Anyone?

Tha V-Rod engine has an automatic compression release. It is built into the valve train. So I assume its active on the big bore as well.

The auto compression release probably can't handle that high a compression. I'm betting a more "normal" BB kit can use the one thats there.

I've heard that some Vrodders are running up to 15:1 but running alcohol fuel

I have not seen any of the aftermarket cams with automatic comp. releases, on our WEBB CAMS we retain those releases and do not have to add external or manuel releases. On street motors we keep compression real close to stock " about 12-1" on our race motors we run from 14-1 up to 18-1 depending on cyl. head flow and cams. The auto releases work great on our race motors, Tripp runs external ones because his cam manufacturer does not offer the auto ones on their cams.
