Ive had alot of questions about my solo setup....so I figured id post here..
I started with my stock DX seat.....took it apart, and carved out the foam...a elec turkey carving knife works well.....I wanted the solo to look very lean and low and follow the angles of the frame more or less.
next i had to do alot of work on the plastic seatpan itself....i had to cut where it angles upward at back, and heat and bend it down, and then riveted it all back together.....i also riveted the edging back onto the rear for a coved trim.

watercraft style stretchy material for cover,it is the only type that can be manipulated and wont allow water into foam..it is GLUED to the foam so it stays tight to foam
