Greetings -- I purchased and received the TTS from fuelmoto this past week. Very nice software/setup. I successfully saved my "stock" ECM calibration which is the original stage 1 the dealer did when I purchased my V-Rod way back in 2003 (screaming eagle slip on mufflers and the K&N).
My question is if I have to replace the ECM for some reason using TTS am I able to upload this calibration into the new ECM module? Does TTS input the VIN? I do all the work on my V-Rod myself -- so I am wondering how to setup up a new ECM if I ever have to walk that dog.
I had a fuel pump fail on me while out for a ride. As I did the trouble shooting a failed ECM was one of the considerations. However as I continued to troubleshoot it turned out to be the fuel pump, so I ordered and installed a new one. But it did plant the "what do I do if I have to replace the ECM" question in my head. So that is the primary reason why I purchased the TTS, 3rd party exhaust systems are the secondary reason.
Thanks in advance
JP
