I have tried ebay for long enough Tomorrow I guess I will just order the base plate, Sissy bar and pad thru Harley... I am blown away at 179 bucks for the baseplate alone...I cannot find any aftermarket or used, Am I the only one with this issue? I have a 08 ann model and all I find are pre wide tire used ones......:broke:

zanotti's generally does not stock V-Rod add on parts but they get them pretty quickly from a local H-D distributor. If the Distributor has them expect to see the parts in a week or 2 at the most. If H-D back orders them God help you.

I have ordered today also te base-plate, backrest, luggagerack and Sundowner seat. The price of the base-plate is in my opinion way to much, but it's not available
elsewhere.

Feeling your pain here, too.
I just bought an 07 and can only find the baseplate on eBay for about $175 and the bar for around $75.
Fortunately, I found a pad on here from another member for $45.

It it weren't for my wife trying to pull me off with the tiniest bit of throttle, I'd say hell with this stuff!

I bit the big one and got Mine at Harley

Guess I got lucky. I found the baseplate on ebay earlier this year for $149 and I got the pad for $25. Until then I ran into the same issue as you guys. The wife is really satisfied though, so I'll have to say it was worth it!
