So I finally got a V-rod; a 2003 all stock machine; in fact it's my first Harley...you could say that Harley's new marketing program worked on me!.

I'm 6'5"tall and 240lbs so I'm wondering if the Tallboy Seat truley does help with leg room and if so, does anybody have some pics they could show me with the seat installed on their V-rod. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

I have the tallboy seat and love it. It definitely gives you more leg room, and is much more comfortable than the stock seat. Do a search in the gallery for a pic of the tallboy seat (that's what I did).

Hi Guys,

I am going to get my V-ROD in a few days. I am 6'3 and probably could need some additional leg space as well. Are there any alternatives to the Tallboy seat?

Cheers

I found a Corbin touring seat on Craigslist (brand new) for a great price and grabbed it. The seat is comfortable and seems to allow a little more leg room. There are pictures of a vrod with the Corbin dual touring seat installed; the rider is 6'6" and seems to like it...you can find the pictures on this forum.
