Finally, designed specifically for the 07+ wider 240 frames. Damn nice lookin' seat and one heck of a price for a stitched leather seat. The link to the new 07+ seat is below. I'm interested but would love a review on the comfort factor. If not this new one anyone have feedback on GRC's other seats?

LOL, I agree... that price is for the alligator skin and Stingray is $899...OUCH! Exotic skins are way too spendy for my wallet.

That price is ridiculously low from other seats I've seen before. I'd like to see the underside and how it's all set up.

Yes I saw one on ebay for 235 I think list is only around 270 from the manufacture. Keep an eye out you will see them. It's made by a major seat manufacture. These are not high quality seats, I would compare them to stock seats. I met the manufacture in Vegas a couple of years back, probably the same time Arron met them.

No it is not, I won't mention the name of the company that made seats for Cary but they were CFR's design and had to be sold through Cary. Big difference between that and what Arron does IMHO.

So, is there a quality low-profile seat available for the 2007+ bikes?

The quality might be good on these. If they're of equal quality to the stocker, but made out of real leather and with better looks than stock then I'd say they look like a decent deal.

there was a post of one of these seats on the forum. If I remember the fit was way off in the rear it separated what looked like a .25". I think he was trying to use a strap to hold it down in hopes that it would remain down once the strap was removed

Think I will stick to my original plan. I finally found a local leatherworker who works with seats and I am just going to redo my Sundowner. Like that seat a lot just don't like the cheap vinyl so new leather should do the trick.

Thanks for the insight also Max! None of us like to skimp on quality and I would rather spend a little extra with a local craftsman than be dissappointed after saving a couple bucks.

Now, if May would just hurry up and get here. Yes, I'm already bitchin' about winter!

Some of the CFR seats didn't fit right either, mine included, but I'm sure the baseplate will make all the difference like it did with the CFR. This one looks pretty decent, anyone contact them for a group buy?

I bought one of the last CFR or the Last CFR and I ride it without the baseplate, and I don't even have rear pegs so no two up with the saddle. But, the seat did settle after a few warm days.

SO can I keep my stock pillion with these seats?

No, this replaces both portions of the stock seat.

Still waiting on it, they havent had a chance to get a mock up bike yet.
