Ok,here it is
The stack velocity stacks measure 56mm at the top(the shortstack) and the long stack measures 57 1/2mm.They are both tapered down to 53mm.

Now, when I bore out the T.B's to 58mm there will be a big step.
What have people done to correct this besides billet stacks.That's no problem for me, I can machine them at work,being a CNC machinist.
Do people just use the stock ones?
Also what about the black seal under the T.B's?That 53mm also.
How do you correct for these big steps?

Did you change or modify the seal under the T.B's?

I've seen the billet ones from Tilley's.Those are designed for no filter.I would like to run a filter.Mostly street riding now, gonna take to the track in the spring.I wanna do a bunch of mods this winter.
