A bunch of us went riding today and one of the family's long time friends brought his 80 incher he keep talking about. anyways he keep wanting to run me on it, and i will admit it is very quick but not quick enough.Towards the end of the day we rode over to one of his buddies house because he wanted his friend to check out the Rod.The warrior was a really nice bike.
He started talking about he had a stage 5 kit installed and he has never been beaten by a Harley :blahblah: :blahblah: :blahblah: . Anyways after talking with him about the money he had to spend on it to make it what is was I told him he should have just got a V-rod. he said the kit was close to 6 grand  but he might have just been talking out his ass.
Finally he fired it up and it was LOUD.We decided to head down the road and catch some nice places to ride.
We came upon a stop sign in the middle of no where and he lites the back tire up..so of course i had to do the same :) My dad just shook his head.
Then he was like "Lets run em". I let him take off first then i hammered it red lined in 1st and never seen him again till i slowed down.I am not sure how far behind me he ever got, when we pulled over for the rest of the guys to catch up i said " now you been beaten by a harley...and a 69 incher at that" :rofl2: He was cool about it he just laughed and we complemented each other on the bikes. The rest of the ride were fun laid back sweepers..next time i see him I will take some pictures of his bike, it was sweet.....but not a Rod.
