We have received a few phone calls about the cables on the market so I thought I would clear them up here.
The cables that came with a SERT tuner kit or the cables that were sold separately (32108-06) for the SERT work perfectly with our new product.

The new SEST cable kit(32184-08) can be used but you will need to get a standard serial port cable from Office depot, Staples or any other office supply store. The cable that goes from the interface to the bike is the same in both kits.

Oh right - anyone got a sensible source for 32108-06 in the UK? Or why don't YOU just buy some and re-sell them, and then we could buy your product? I'd love to buy it, but as yet I've not been able to source a cable (never found that part number)... Or, are you any closer to getting some made?

We are still waiting on our cables, so I thought I'd clear the air on the current cables and part numbers along with what you can use to make things work until we get our's in place.

The part numbers are certainly helpful, but there must be some limit to how much hassle people are going to go to. In my own case, I'm based in Portugal where ordering anything off the stealer is an exercise in futility, so that means ordering in the UK and probably making a trip to get it, plus your stuff has to come from the US (and UK customs just nabbed my TwinScan and sent me a huge bill) so, one way and another, I wish someone would just sell me your product and the cable - Harley or yours, I don't care.

Steve you are using serial cables? What about those of us with no serial ports?

TTS will have a cable + USB adapter option. Rather than re-engineer the interface to house the USB adapter they went with the same option DTT did, an outboard USB adapter.

Any of the current FTDI based USB to serial adapters will work just fine.

You only really need the cable from the key to the bike, everything else is standard RS-232.

Louis, can't Guernsey or Jersey hd get you 32184-08?

You can buy my SEPST with cables if you want ;) USB as well out of the box.

Trouble is IIRC your SEPST won't save existing maps? I'm quite keen to be able to return painlessly to stock.

Also I got a PCIII for very little on ebay, so I'm going to give that a shot first - I accept that direct re-flashing is a superior method, and that's where I'll probably go in the end.

Yes, I'm sure I can order the cables, it is just another hassle, and I have enough of 'em right now. The V-Rod's fine, but the Tiger is in pieces for various jobs, so my parts-ordering patience is more or less used up :D
